Build sound cattle systems around forage, water, handling, herd health and reliable records. A sound plan connects welfare, environment, nutrition, health, labour, records and economics. Improving only one element rarely fixes a weak system.
Housing and environment
Provide shade or weather protection, dry resting space, non-slip handling areas, constant clean water and enough room to avoid crowding.
